Volunteers Needed for Children's Programs at Matthaei Botanical Gardens

Love flowers, plants, children, and learning?  

Come join us this spring in the Gaffield Children’s Garden at Matthaei Botanical Gardens for a unique opportunity. Volunteers are needed to lead specialized nature play with children. Last summer conducted a series of successful weekly programs inviting kids to participate in volunteer-led nature-based programs. There's plenty of evidence out there showing that frequent contact with nature has a positive impact on children’s social, psychological, academic, and physical health.

Once a week this summer 2017 our volunteers will encourage and facilitate child-led play experiences in the Garden.  Come join the fun!
